Clinical Social Thinking Groups

Run by licensed clinical practitioners, our clinical social skill groups help children who are having difficulty navigating peer relationships in the classroom, on the playground, and at home. The Coastal Center offers groups to help children learn and practice social thinking in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. This group will benefit children who have trouble resolving conflicts with peers, who appear lonely and complain they “don’t have any friends,” who tend to be teased or “left out,” or have trouble reading social cues or initiating and maintaining conversations with others.
