Kris has worked with children and families in a variety of settings for over 25 years. She is extensively trained in the Miller Method, a cognitive-developmental systems approach for behavior-disordered children. Kris works closely with families to create a dynamic, engaging, and individualized learning environment for their child in a unique play therapy setting which addresses communication, intentional behavior, and pre-executive functioning. 

For seven years, Kris worked at the Language and Cognitive Development Center in Jamaica Plain as a classroom teacher and Miller Method therapist in the toddler program. She has also worked in Newton for LCDC as a consultant, specifically for Parent-Child Assessments, program development and review.

Kris has taught therapists, teachers, and parents to create comprehensive programs at home and in school settings for children on the Autism Spectrum.

Her wealth of experience also includes 11 years of teaching in the Hull Public Schools and in Hingham as a Special Education teacher for children in preschool through third grade. She is experienced in teaching a broad range of children and integrating their programs into classrooms. She is also certified in Early Childhood Education and Moderate Special Needs.
