Pat Davis LICSW
Pat Davis is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children and families in myriad of settings.
In her role as a consultant for schools she has provided:
case consultation;
supervision of special education (SPED) program social workers and behavior managers;
program development for SPED programs supporting students identified with significant emotional/social and behavioral issues;
and professional development for school administrators and staff.
Pat has worked as a school social worker providing counseling for students and families across a number of middle and high schools. In this capacity, she has provided assessment, referrals, consultation, individual and group counseling, case management and family outreach.
Prior to working in school settings Pat worked as a social worker at McLean Hospital. Her work was primarily in a dual-diagnostic unit with adults and adolescences with addiction and mental health issues.
Pat uses a solution-focused, collaborative problem model. Incorporating CBT, skills building, mindfulness and insight oriented-therapies, Pat works with latency-age children, adolescents, families and adults. She particularly enjoys working with parents of adolescents as a parent coach.
She earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Simmons College. Her undergraduate BA was in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston MA.
