Ron Dranetz, LMHC
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I see clients in person and via telehealth for a range of concerns. I have experience working with adults of all ages and stages of life, from young adulthood on, and working with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management, addiction, and family and social relationships. I also have over 25 years of experience working in a variety of corporate environments and can help you with work and career stresses.
I provide a safe and confidential space and an empathic listening environment in which you can feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings.
My approach is Psychodynamic, which means that I strive to create a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship in which we can work together comfortably to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors, to address the root causes of your struggles and to help you achieve a more fulfilling life.
Choosing to start psychotherapy is one of the most consequential decisions you can make. We will work together as you develop insight on how you can better manage anxiety, depression, improve mood and enhance relationships, resulting in changes to unwanted or self-defeating life patterns. Psychotherapy is transformative. Our work together will support your awareness, increase your choices, improve your overall enjoyment of life, and find meaning and value for all of your feelings.
