Sandi Birdsall LADC1
Sandi creates a therapeutic experience like she cooks. She assesses what she has for ingredients, chooses the best way to develop her recipe and then adjusts as she goes along. Her degree is in Expressive Therapies, her license is in drug and alcohol counseling and her interest is how she can best serve you.
Sandi has been known to incorporate pets, play and humor in her therapy sessions. She believes in using our whole self to work on balancing our imbalances. Sometimes movement, sometimes mindfulness and stillness, sometimes creative endeavors and sometimes talking are all part of the journey.
Sandi invites all ages into the therapeutic relationship and will work with individuals of any age, families, couples and groups. Her background supports a variety of modalities, populations and identified disorders.
Sandi earned her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and her Master’s in Expressive Therapy (Play Therapy concentration) from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She has been ARC trained and has done extensive continuing education around trauma issues.
